How to Get There

State Highway 2 runs northeast through central Masterton. Immediately after it crosses the Waipoua River, turn east onto Te Ore Ore Road. After 2.5 km, this continues east as Masterton Castlepoint Road. The trip on the road is 62 km, and it will take an hour to drive to Castlepoint.

At Castlepoint, you can explore its stunning coastal features, including the surf beach, lighthouse, reef and Matira / Castle Rock.
