North Shore Coastal Walk: Campbells Bay to Murrays Bay

Located on the North Shore of Auckland, the section of the North Shore Coastal Walk from Campbells Bay to Murrays Bay is a flat, easy path ideal for a leisurely stroll. This part of the walk is particularly appealing as it runs below scenic cliffs and includes a stop at the beach in Mairangi Bay. It's a favourite among locals and is considered one of the easiest sections of Te Araroa.

Tide and Rock Formations

For the best experience, plan your walk shortly after high tide when the tide begins to recede. As the water retreats, it reveals a fascinating array of rock formations with a wide variety of shapes and patterns. These natural features add an extra layer of interest to your walk, making it more than just a simple coastal stroll.
