Getting to Tairua Ocean Beach
To reach Tairua Ocean Beach from Auckland, take the southern motorway to State Highway 2. Follow this to State Highway 25A and cross the peninsula to Tairua. Turn onto Ocean Beach Road, which leads directly to the beach's northern access point. The drive takes 135 minutes and is 149 km.
