Canyoning Adventures
Canyoning Aotearoa offers several tours that cater to different levels of adventure. The half-day Hidden Falls tour and the full-day tour in Shift Canyon are both located in Nelson Lakes National Park. These tours provide an opportunity to experience the park's rugged terrain and cascading waterfalls. Additionally, the Dry Chasm tour takes you through Kahurangi National Park, en route to Mt Owen, showcasing another facet of New Zealand's diverse landscapes.
Location and Access
The Canyoning Aotearoa team is based in St Arnaud on State Highway 63. This location is adjacent to Lake Rotoiti, nestled between Nelson and Murchison.
For a more sedate approach to these parks, you can take the Brunner Peninsula Walk and Honeydew Walk at Lake Rotoiti, and the Scotts Beach Walk in Kahurangi National Park.
